Browse Aloud software to increase accessibility of Inclusion Ireland website
The Inclusion Ireland website is now using Texthelp’s Browse Aloud software which adds speech, reading and translation to assist persons with intellectual disabilities, dyslexia and those with mild visual impairments to access digital technology.
The Browse Aloud software can read text out loud, simplify text, save a recording of the text to a MP3 and even change the text to other languages.
The Browse Aloud software is identifiable via the orange software icon on the top left corner of the website.
To have text read out loud, just open up icon, put cursor at the start of the text and press play.
